Stacking the Shelves (10)

“Stacking the Shevles” is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews in which we share books that we’ve added to our shelves via purchase, exchange, etc.

Here’s what I added this week:

The author, Melissa Wright, kindly gifted me a free copy of this audiobook because I enjoyed Bound by Prophecy SO MUCH that I wanted to read her other series as well!

A huge thank you to Jenna of Jenna Does Books for sending me the Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea ARC! I’ve been trying to get my hands on a copy since I started my book blog with no luck, but she was kind enough to gift me hers. <333

As usual, you can click on the books to see their Goodreads summaries. :]

Weekly Recap

Other awesome things that happened this week: I was chosen as the official blogger for the Harlequin Teen #YEAHYA tour stop in Memphis, TN; I received my first unsolicited review request from an amazing author; Jenn (J.R.) Johansson sent me awesome INSOMNIA swag to give away with a signed copy of the book during the Summer of Giveaways; I requested my 3rd physical ARC from a publisher and was approved; and I ate a lot of chocolate-covered strawberries! :D

So what books did you stack your shelves with this week? Did anything fun and/or exciting happen for you?

Hi. My name is Shannon and I like books. And photography. And video games. I use this space to talk about books, review books, and generally participate in badassery.

  1. Abria @ Read. Write. Discuss.

I’ve heard really good things about Splintered. Haven’t picked it up myself because my TBR pile is taller than I am, but I can dream.

    • Shannon

Totally feel your pain, Abria. My TBR pile is ridiculously huge as well…I keep telling myself that someday I’ll actually be able to go back to reading a book a day instead of a book in 3-4 weeks. :(

  2. Lucy @ Queen of Contemporary

I really need to read Splintered because it looks really good. Definitely one that’s on my wishlist. Happy reading!

  3. Jessi @ Auntie Spinelli Reads

Stormdancer was AMAZEBALLS. Buruu! <3 And Splintered was pretty awesome, too! Team Morpheus FTW! (please be Team Morpheus!!! *crosses fingers*)
I have been DYING for Between the Devil & the Deep Blue Sea, I requested it all ways I possibly could, but alas, it's not meant to be =/ Can't wait to see what you think of it!!

  4. Michelle @ In Libris Veritas

You week sounds like it was pretty great! The chocolate covered strawberries sound like heaven..two of my favorite foods combined! Stormdancer is amazing!! So is Splintered! I haven’t read Hopeless so I can’t yell about that one, but I hope you enjoy all of your other books. :)

  5. Danielle

Between the Devil and the deep blue sea sounds soo amazing, can’t wait to hear your thoughts! Congrats on being a chosen blogger! It sounds amazeballs!
